Koperasi Kariah Masjid Abu Al-Darda' Nilai Impian Berhad (Koperasi Kariah Masjid Abu Al-Darda' Nilai Impian Berhad, Registration No. 202565300954) ("KMAAD", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and its amendments.
1. Personal Data We Collect
We collect data such as full name, IC number, date of birth, address, phone number, email address, employment information, bank account information, and nominee/heir details — primarily through the membership application form and the contact form on this site. The membership application form also collects scanned/photographed copies of supporting documents you upload yourself (front & back of your IC, proof of address, and payment receipt where applicable).
2. Purpose of Processing
- Processing membership applications and managing membership (including share registration).
- Complying with the Co-operative Societies Act 1993 and the cooperative's by-laws.
- Communicating with members about meetings, dividends, activities and official notices.
- Responding to enquiries submitted through the contact form.
3. Data Sharing
Your personal data may be shared with the Malaysia Co-operative Commission (SKM), ANGKASA, and other relevant authorities solely to comply with cooperative legal requirements. We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. Supporting documents you upload in the membership form (IC, proof of address, payment receipt) are sent directly to the cooperative's management email via EmailJS, a third-party email processing service — these documents are not stored in this website's database; only the filenames are recorded against your application for reference.
4. Data Security
Data submitted through our online forms is stored using Firebase (Google Cloud) infrastructure, with access restricted to Board of Directors (ALK) members and authorised staff only. Membership form document attachments are transmitted via the EmailJS channel described in Section 3.
5. Retention Period
Member data is retained for the duration of active membership and thereafter for the period required under the Co-operative Societies Act 1993. General enquiry data is kept no longer than 24 months unless required for ongoing records.
6. Your Rights
Under the PDPA, you have the right to access, correct, and (subject to cooperative legal requirements) request withdrawal of your personal data. Contact us at admin@masjidabualdarda.coop.my or 011-55938300 for any personal data related request.
